Our roadmap for success

Our mission envisions a path to success by first achieving a state constitutional challenge to set a legal precedent, then pursuing multiple state challenges to prompt the U.S. Supreme Court to address the issue, and ultimately securing a Supreme Court decision that ends forced, non-religious genital mutilation nationwide by guaranteeing equal protection for all children.

Our Mission envisions a path to success through three key phases:

  1. Phase 1: Achieve the first successful state constitutional challenge in the U.S. to set a legal precedent;
  2. Phase 2: Pursue multiple state constitutional challenges that cumulatively compel the U.S. Supreme Court to address the issue;
  3. Phase 3: Secure a landmark Supreme Court decision that guarantees equal protection under the law for all children, regardless of sex, by ending forced, non-religious genital mutilation nationwide.
