Intact Global Receives Retroactive 501(c)(3) Tax-Exempt Status
IRS grants Intact Global retroactive 501(c)(3) status, making all past and future donations tax-deductible.
“This is a major milestone for our organization,” said Eric Clopper, Founder and Executive Director of Intact Global. “This recognition by the IRS not only validates the seriousness and integrity of our mission—it also opens the door to greater fundraising, partnerships, and public support to protect children from non-consensual, non-medically necessary genital mutilation.”
Implications for Donors
With retroactive 501(c)(3) approval, all qualifying contributions made to Intact Global since March 22, 2024, are now tax-deductible. Donors are encouraged to consult their tax advisors to amend past returns and claim eligible deductions.
Strengthening Our Mission
This tax-exempt designation allows Intact Global to expand its reach, attract new supporters, and scale up legal, educational, and advocacy efforts to protect children from forced, non-religious genital cutting.
